…or traditional media (print/tv) is still the. “Long form” (podcasts) represent - in our estimation - the best way to get information out to the smartest people. Journalistic integrity is more critical than ever. And yet, the smartest people can’t get behind a message unless it resonates with the crowd. Story, timing, execution - more important than ever. Shareability (and defensibility) of the story depends upon the predictive capability of the media professionals who craft and deploy the “message”.

A skunk works project won WWII and built the Macintosh. Walmart and Alphabet Inc. (google) have all “gone skunk” where the gravamen of the threat or opportunity required these specific, counter intuitive conditions:

  • need for secrecy - strict (legally binding) confidentiality

  • isolation from the usual suspects

  • removal of hierarchical impediments
